Peter Jacques
Peter is 36 years old and lives in Huddersfield where he works as a Postman. He is married to Nikki and has 2 children Alex and Vikki. He started playing darts at the age of 8 with his granddad. He played in his first league at the age of 15.and eventually got his county call up in 2006. He plays local league and super league as well as county and also attends a few of the UK competitions. His high point in darts has been county selection and also reaching the Winmau masters final. He says his low point is every time he losses and also when he sees friends losing who are trying to get into the game at a higher level, especially the young ones. His ambition is to keep enjoying playing and to get into the ‘A’ team. When asked for a personal comment on darts he said “out of my time in darts I have enjoyed meeting people who are so friendly towards you regardless of what team you play for and are just out for the enjoyment of the sport” My comment on Peter is that he is an extremely friendly person whom I know has the ability to achieve his ambition of getting into the ‘A’ team.
