Keith Flint
Keith is 33 years old and lives in Doncaster with partner Vicky and his 3year old son Harry. He works as a moulding assistant. He initially started playing darts at home with his dad at 5 years old. He joined his first pub league at the age of 18 accompanying his dad and uncle. He then joined Yorkshire youth at the age of 19 and started playing superleague at the age of 20. he received his County call up in 2006 and initially played 2 years in the ‘B’ and was then promoted to the ‘A’ team. He currently plays local league, super league and county, he also does local competitions. His high points in darts have been his YDO call up, promotion to the ‘A’ team, winning the Yorkshire Gold cup pairs qualifier with John boy. His low point was when he missed 6 darts at the double in the 2006 Champions cup. His ambition is to qualify for Lakeside and to be selected for England. His comment on darts was, he thinks what is happening with darts in schools is a good thing and also he would like to be able to make a good living out of darts. My comments on Keith are that he still has plenty of time in front of him to develop his game and therefore we haven’t seen the best of him yet.
