John Mooring
John is 49 year old his partner is Val and has 2 children and 2 grandchildren. He lives in York and works as a Drayman as well as being a self employed DJ.
John started playing at the age of 26 for his local pub. He was selected for county in 1986 and is currently plays in the ‘A’ team.
John’s high points in darts are winning the Yorkshire Individuals in 1986, and also winning the Yorkshire Classic in 2005.
His low point in darts was being beaten in the Embassy qualifier in 1998.
His ambition is to keep his ’A’team place and keep playing well.
For his personal comment he said “ Over 25 Years that I have been playing, I have met some fantastic people and made a lot of friends so I have lots of great memories from all counties”
My comments on John are that he is a very frugal person who is an excellent dart player and is very passionate about Yorkshire.
